Chris C.

Mr. Christopher Corbin is an experienced security professional and manager with extensive US Government operations knowledge and a proven history of security program establishment, improvement and compliance.  Mr. Corbin currently serves as the Special Security Manager for Cyber Security at the 262nd Network Warfare Squadron at the Joint Based Lewis-McChord in Washington.  In this role, Mr. Corbin manages and administers US Government security policies and provides guidance and consultation for the base’s information, personnel, physical and industrial security programs.  Prior to serving as the Special Security Manager, Mr. Corbin served as the Security and Antiterrorism Manager at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington. As the Security and Antiterrorism Manager, Mr. Corbin research, tracked and obtained funding to correct major classified antiterrorism vulnerability of vital importance to the air sovereignty of the United States of America.  Mr. Corbin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Wayland Baptist University and completed over 1,500 hours of formal security training with agencies such as the Defense Security Service, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the United States Air Force and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

J. Liptrap

Jack is a member of the Air Force’s 262nd Network Warfare Squadron. As part of his National Guard duty, he tests Air Force computer networks for security vulnerabilities and provides a detailed course of action to eliminate or reduce the risk. An accomplished and decorated software developer, he is known as the king of reverse engineering and re-engineering malware and security tools to improve capabilities and tactics. Jack was named Airman of the Year ’09 at squadron and group levels. In addition, his unique ability to find bad guys earned him a medal for developing a key piece of software that enables the Air Force to remotely assess security vulnerabilities through a secure tunnel.

Kristopher M. Thomas

Mr. Kristopher Thomas brings unparalleled skills and technical knowledge directly from the cutting edge of the United States’ highest level cybersecurity defense systems.  Kristopher was the leader of the Network Security Assessment team of the 262nd Information Warfare Aggressor Squadron, which evaluates the integrity of US Air Force Networks.  As part of his duties, he was responsible for identifying and remedying the vulnerabilities in Air Force systems by emulating real-world threats to military operating systems with multiple penetration tools.  Mr. Thomas was instrumental in the design and development of a unique contained computer lab imitating Air Force networks for the training cybersecurity professionals and analysis of cyber attacks and malware.

As a network engineer with Quantum Dynamics, Mr. Thomas developed and and utilized software to identify infected machines, analyze activity of infected workstations, and recover data for continued research into defensive tactics for Air Force networks.

Kristopher possesses a fantastic ability to create reports showing clients’ infection rates and performs remote and on-site vulnerability assessments emulating real-world threats to operational systems.

Laisvis L.

An extremely skilled ninja, Laisvis Lingvevicius is a member of 262 Network Warfare Squadron. Mr. Lingvevicius is a highly experienced software development engineer at Microsoft with background in both military and private sector network security.  He conducts network vulnerability and defense assessments on large military networks consisting of over 10,000 hosts by developing new attack vectors and software tools to identify key vulnerabilities.  Laisvis brings a unique software engineering perspective into the information security field.

P. S. Chiou

Peter is a member of 262 Network Warfare Squadron. As part of his National Guard duty and his work at a Silicon Valley company, Mr. Chiou is experienced in a broad spectrum of networking technologies and roles including: IP routing/switching, SONET/DWDM, security/VPN, Voice-Video/Unified Communications, wireless, and data center computing; as field engineer, consulting architect, and marketing. Peter is also a CISCO Internetwork Expert.

Mark A.

Mr. Mark Aown is the Flight Commander and Mission Commander for the 262 Network Warfare Squadron. Mr. Aown distinguished himself by leading the first full spectrum Network Integrity Assessment at the US Department of Defense, which included assessing the installations Industrial Control Systems. Mark is exceptional at leading teams to find bad guys and blocking bad guys from getting in.
