After a long wait, Hunted has finally aired! The premise? Nine teams of two ordinary citizens become fugitives. They only get a one-hour head start before a team of Command Center Investigators and Ground Hunters find out their identity.
Keep in mind, the Hunters have never seen the show – we’re watching it for the first time with you. We have no idea when we got to the fugitives, forcing them to make errors in their hide or flee decision-making moments. On the other hand, the fugitives do not know what errors helped our investigation either.
Each time a set of fugitives were released, after the hour had passed, a dossier would be handed to Robert Clark, the Commander of Hunted. In the Command Center, Commander Robert Clark would come out of his office and ask us to step up to the white board. He would post the fugitives’ photos, give us the first and last name corresponding with the pictures, their date of birth and last known address. That's it. We didn't even have context for the address!
I am the Deputy Commander of Intel and my team is made up of the best of the best cyber and intel investigators. Charles DeBarber and Landon Stewart from Fortalice Solutions are also members of the team, while the rest hails from NSA, CIA, US Coast Guard, Naval Intelligence and Law Enforcement.
Our goal? Use our cyber capabilities to dig up all intelligence on our fugitives to feed over to the Ground Hunters. The Ground Hunters are managed by my co-worker, Lenny DePaul, Deputy Commander of Operations. We must -- and will -- find every fugitive before the 28-day clock runs out. If we don't, the fugitives win $250,000.
So far America has met three teams of fugitives:
(1) David and Emiley
(2) Christina and Matt
(3) Angela and Michele
During the premiere, without giving you a spoiler, the Intelligence team digs up information to force human error that ultimately leads to a capture at a bus station.

Here's a quick recap of my chat with Aki Peritz from the first episode:
“If you see a 6’8” person standing around you’d say, ‘Hey, look at that guy.”
“With a gorgeous blonde on his arm?”
“Yeah, they’re not going to blend.”
